Walking tour

Venice is located in the very center of the largest Italian lagoon. Join us in Murano, at the heart of this 550 km2 lagoon, as we set out to explore its secrets. Learn why the Venetian Republic expelled all of Venice’s glassblowers to this island many centuries ago. Discover how today’s artisans continue to create unparalleled glass masterpieces. Set sail across the lagoon, weaving amidst wooden piles and sandbanks, as you make your way to a verdant oasis of peace – the Island of Torcello, whose timeworn bell tower offers some of the lagoon’s most striking panoramic views. And cross the tiny canal to Burano, Venice’s most colorful island, where you can browse quaint boutiques where lace makers patiently craft their wares.
